Vlastislav Janáček
Biography
Vlastimil Janáček was born in Havlíčkův Brod on October 18, 1960.
In the years 1975–1978 he completed an apprenticeship as a glass cutter in the glass Factory in Světlá nad Sázavou and from 1978–1981 the School of Art and Design in Kamenický Šenov with Professor Vladimír Klein. From 1982-1984 he worked as a glass grinder in the Nový Bor glassworks. In the years 1984-1999 he worked as a teacher of glass grinding.
Since 1999 he has lived and worked as a freelance artist in Kamenický Šenov.
