Roman Hudziec was born 1968 in Karviná in the Czech Republic.
He graduated from the School of Applied Arts in Uherské Hradiště and the Art Academy in Prague. In 1995 he was a visiting professor at the Sherborne Boys School in England. After nine years of teaching at the art academy he 2003 gave up teaching and has been freelance ever since.
The main motif of his painting is the landscape. He can paint it in a very realistic and effective way, hiding many secrets and dream structures in it and create in this way almost surrealistic effects.
Roman Hudziec lives and works in Korycany.
