Eva  Hašková

Biography

Eva Hašková was born on January 4, 1946 in Kladno.

In the years 1960-1964 she graduated from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design under prof. Zdeněk Sklenář with a focus on book illustrations and graphics. Over the years, free graphics predominated in her work. She uses various techniques e.g. the colour etching, aquatint and their combination. Her favourite colours are brown and green, and sometimes she uses a combination of blue and purple. She has created dozens of small and large-format graphic sheets and illustrated a great number of books. She is a member of the Hollar Artists' Association.

Eva Hašková lives and works in Všenory.
